I love tools! These are the best of the best! While I could list so many, depending on which platforms you use most for your business, these are the ones that will be helpful to almost everyone.

Social Media Tools

Meet Edgar is essential for automating your long-form or evergreen content. For example, you can set up Tweets and other social media linking to your blog post where they will republish the content a few times across the coming months. This gives your content more reach without more work.
I can’t say enough about my favorite content posting platform. If you do nothing else – go look them up. They have a great free option, and their pricing is based on the number of BRANDS not the number of ACCOUNTS! Game changer!

Plan and Organize

Google Suite is a must to keep my files organized and easily shareable. I use Google Drive every single day.
This little app has been my external brain for a decade! It can handle every brain dump and lets me search for keywords or tags when I forget which Note has what I need.

Hashtags

Flick has become my main way to track, organize, and test hashtags. The features allow Collections, shows Top Performer, and similar Tag Suggestions.
Hashzag is an amazing little-known site I can’t rave about enough. This free tool allows you to make custom hashtag categories then generates a random mix of hashtags from the categories you select. They make it so easy!

Topic Research

Answer The Public takes keyword research to a new level! Just one well-thought-out search on their site can generate a month’s worth of content ideas. I use their free option, which is two searches per day. I just keep a running list (on Evernote).
Keywords Everywhere is a Chrome extension that lets you see what other searches similar to yours are being inputted into search engines. It’s best used with Youtube and Google.
